Highlights:
· Clara has performed the lira, trapeze, trained horses and served as a dancer. She learned most of her skills from other performers who worked at the circus
· Clara, who has been doing the upside-down act for more than a year, considers it to be the highlight of her circus career. She chose to perform the act because of the originality of it and was inspired by Kai LeClerc, one of the first people to perform the unique act.
· Clara, who is from Brazil, can speak Portuguese, Spanish and Italian fluently.

Levitytia
With her colorful costume and a welcoming smile, Clara Ruiz first brightens the arena during pre-show at the 139th Edition of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® circus.
And later, when she magically enters the stage as Levitytia, the leading lady of ZING ZANG ZOOMSM, this sultry songstress steals the spotlight.
Dressed in a magical gold costume with ribbon-like boots to her knees, Levitytia, opens the show with one of its three big songs, the self-titled: ZING ZANG ZOOM!
Her character lifts the spirits of the circus, despite the antics of the Mr. Gravity. At one point, Alex even magically makes her go through a solid steel plate. That’s before Mr. Gravity turns her upside down, an act she performs with Fabio Melo Da Silva.
The role of Levitytia came as a surprise to Clara, who joined the tour to perform the upside-down act. But this Brazilian beauty took to the starring role like a hand in a glove.
Clara grew up with a circus, though her parents worked on the business side, not in the arena. Today they are photographers for a circus in Brazil.
Before joining the tour, Clara trained in Germany and toured Europe with an Italian circus. She joined Ringling Bros.® because she wanted to see America and because it’s The Greatest Show On Earth®! She looks forward to the people she’ll meet on the road.
The item she can’t live without? Her computer, of course. She likes to surf the Internet, take virtual tours of cities, edit pictures, follow her favorite soccer teams and connect with friends.
