IS THERE A FEE FOR MY CHILD TO PARTICIPATE IN THE READING PROGRAM?

No, there is not a fee. However, there is a required paid adult admission to attend the circus with your child. See voucher for more details.

OUR LOCAL LIBRARY ISN’T LISTED. CAN WE REGISTER ONLINE AND STILL PARTICIPATE?

The reading program is only available through participating public libraries. We encourage you to visit your local public library and tell them of your interest; they may not know about the program. Please note that we are not accepting any new libraries into the program at this time.

WE HOMESCHOOL OUR CHILDREN. CAN WE PARTICIPATE IN THE READING PROGRAM IF WE USE THE BOOKS WE HAVE AT OUR HOME LIBRARY?

The reading program is only available through participating public libraries. However, feel free to visit your local public library, if they are participating, and enroll in the program there.

WHAT ARE THE AGE REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE READING PROGRAM?

Reading with Ringling Bros.! is open to children from the ages of 2 to 12.  In many arenas, children under 2 are admitted free provided they sit on a parent or guardian’s lap. However, public event laws vary nationwide from location to location, and some arenas may require all patrons, regardless of age, to have a ticket. Please contact your local arena to confirm their specific policy.

No, there is not a fee for public libraries or families. However, there is a required paid adult admission for parents or guardians to attend the circus with the participating child. IS THE READING PROGRAM AVAILABLE ALL YEAR LONG?

Reading with Ringling Bros.! is only available during the weeks leading up to the circus visiting your area and during the time the circus is in town.  We currently do not have a year-round program.

CAN A SCHOOL LIBRARY ENROLL IN THE READING PROGRAM?

Sorry, we are not accepting program applications at this time.

Circus library readings are free and open to the public. Clown and performer appearances are subject to availability. Please check with your local participating public library for details.

I DO NOT SEE A CLOWN OR PERFORMER APPEARANCE LISTED AT MY PARTICIPATING PUBLIC LIBRARY, HOW DO I REQUEST AN APPEARANCE?

We encourage you to reach out to your local public library and express an interest for a clown or performer to visit the library. Circus library readings are free and open to the public. Clown and performer appearances are subject to availability.
