Spark some patriotic creativity with your little ones this Independence Day! Join Skyler Miser, the dazzling Ringling® Rocket, as she shows you how to make a festive DIY confetti rocket using just a toilet paper roll and some tissue paper. It’s a blast of fun for the whole family!
Supplies needed
- Toilet paper roll
- Tape
- Scizzors
- Balloons
- Colorful Tissue Paper
- Fun Stickers or Jewels
🚀 Step 1 – Snip the Balloon!
Take a balloon and carefully cut off the rounded end (the part you blow into). This will be the power behind your rocket!
🎈 Step 2 – Stretch & Attach!
Stretch the open end of the balloon over one side of a toilet paper roll. It might be a bit tricky, but that’s what makes it fun! Once it’s on, secure it tightly with tape or a rubber band.
🎨 Step 3 – Time to Decorate!
Turn your rocket into a circus superstar! Use colorful tissue paper, markers, and anything bright and bold!
✨ Step 4 – Make Confetti!
Grab more tissue paper and cut it into tiny squares – this will be your sparkling rocket fuel! Mix up the colors to make your blast extra fun!
🌟 Step 5 – Sticker It Up!
Now add stickers, glitter, and anything shiny to the outside of your rocket. Circus stars – let your imagination fly!
🎉🎇 NOW… IT’S LAUNCH TIME! 🎇🎉
